We’re gearing up for another exciting week at the annual RVDA Convention & Expo. At this year’s event, Manheim Specialty will debut its presence on Foursquare - the social media platform that connects online customers with real world experiences.
Attendees checking in on Foursquare at Manheim Specialty’s booth will be able to unlock a special offer which allows them to:
• Get a copy of a simple Foursquare Quick-Start Guide to help them engage with their own retail customers on this rapidly-growing platform;
• Enter to win a free Flip Video ™ camera. Two Flip Video cams will be given away – one to the first person to unlock the special offer and a second to another lucky attendee selected at random at the close of the show.
To check in, simply search for “RVDA” on Foursquare on your mobile device when you arrive at The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino; check in at the Manheim Specialty Auctions Booth location and show the unlocked special offer to one of the booth representatives. Regardless of how many ways you connect with us online, we always like to make a personal face-to-face connection, too. We’ll be at booth #213 (where all attendees can register to win an Apple iPad®!) and in several educational sessions. We encourage you to check out “A Day on the Auction Block” on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 2:45-4 p.m. if you’re interested in learning a little more about the auction business and how auctions can help improve your bottom line. As part of the presentation, you’ll even have an opportunity to see a live mock-auction.
