Towable RV Performance Increases; Drivable RV Performance Remains Steady
Manheim Specialty has a strong focus on booking out all the Specialty units (RVs, Boats, Motorcycles, PowerSports) we offer for sale with NADA values. This allows us to track our Specialty locations performance against NADA, understand current market conditions, and look for trends in performance from year to year. For reference, we track our RV performance against the Used Wholesale Trade-In NADA value.
Here are a few key points about RV NADA performance:
In November 2011, RVs sold at Manheim Specialty locations averaged 78% of NADA
- This is up one point from the average of 77% of NADA achieved for RVs in October 2011
- NADA performance for Towable RVs increased three points in November 2011 while NADA performance for Drivable RVs remained steady
- In November 2011, Towable RVs sold at Manheim Specialty locations averaged 77% of NADA
- In November 2011, Drivable RVs sold at Manheim Specialty locations averaged 78% of NADA
For comparison purposes:
- In November 2010, RVs sold at Manheim Specialty locations averaged 78% of NADA
- In October 2009, RVs sold at Manheim Specialty locations averaged 90% of NADA

The NADA performance of Towable RVs and Drivable RVs was haphazard in the first half of 2011. Drivable RV NADA performance has remained steady while Towable RVs have experienced an upward trend in November.
