DAYTONA - February 2, 2010 - Manheim Specialty Auctions has significantly expanded its PowerSports offering at Manheim Daytona Beach with the addition of a 45,000 square-foot facility focused exclusively on motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles (ATV), quad runners and watercraft. Now the largest powersports auction facility in Florida, Manheim added the new location to meet continued growing customer demand for quality pre-owned inventory.

With many powersports industry professionals already conducting business at 2010 Daytona Bike Week (February 27 - March 7), Manheim Daytona Beach is continuing its expansion celebration with a special March 9 event sale. Conveniently scheduled following the conclusion of Bike Week activities, the sale features over 500 motorcycles, including over 200 late-model Harley-Davidson cruisers and tourers from Harley-Davidson Financial Services (HDFS). An extensive collection of metric bikes will also be offered to dealer buyers, as well as additional PowerSports units from dealer consignors.

ATLANTA - October 15, 2009 - Manheim Daytona Beach has opened a new 45,000-sq. ft. powersports facility and gained HSBC as a consignor, becoming a full-service powersports facility.
"We are offering more than 400 PowerSports units - motorcycles, jet skis and allterrain vehicles - each month from HSBC and Harley-Davidson Financial Services (HDFS), so our dealers can plan their buying schedule knowing Manheim Daytona Beach can meet all of their PowerSports needs," said Eric Wagner, general manager. "It's exciting because our new facility and dedicated staff enables us to run and process these sales efficiently for our buyers and sellers."
Manheim Daytona Beach hosts PowerSports sales the second Tuesday of every month at 9 a.m. in its new powersports facility, which also houses reconditioning and mechanical shops. Each month, both HSBC and HDFS run an average of 200-plus units,
with the majority of those units being motorcycles. Manheim Daytona Beach has been selling close to 80 percent of the units offered at every sale.
For nearly a year, Manheim Daytona Beach has been ringing up strong sales for HDFS.
